Product Overview & Application Area
The GEMA electric heating element 7.5 kW is a screw-in heating element for electric auxiliary heating of water in suitable storage and container systems. It is typically used when a hot water or buffer tank is to be electrically reheated or supplemented as an additional heat source.
This version is particularly intended for suitable enameled storage tanks and containers. Thanks to the integrated insulation separation, the temperature controller, and the safety temperature limiter, the heating element is suitable for technically clean storage applications with professional electrical connection.
Technology & Equipment
The electric heating element is designed as a screw-in heating element with three U-shaped tubular heating elements and a sensor protection tube. The connection housing contains temperature control, safety temperature limiter, and a red indicator light for visual inspection of the operating status.
The temperature can be set via the external controller. For the 7.5 kW version, a 400 V connection is intended; the electrical design must match the system and be checked by an approved electrician.
Everyday Benefits
The GEMA electric heating element 7.5 kW enables electric auxiliary heating directly in the storage tank and can thus support hot water preparation or storage reheating. Operation is via the integrated temperature controller on the connection housing.
The indicator light facilitates visual inspection in the technical room. For long-term reliable operation, water quality, scale formation, installation position, and professional commissioning should be considered.
System Integration & Compatibility
The electric heating element is installed via a G 1 1/2" screw-in thread into a suitable storage sleeve. Before selection, the connection size, installation position, installation space, operating pressure, water hardness, and electrical connection conditions should be checked against the existing storage tank.
The integration is intended for suitable open or closed containers with water. During operation, the heating element and sensor protection tube must be permanently and sufficiently surrounded by water.

Installation
The heating element is intended for horizontal installation in a suitable cylinder socket. Before installation, the socket, free installation length, installation clearance, sealing surface, and electrical connection options must be checked.
Electrical connection may only be carried out by an approved electrician. Before switching on the power, the tank must be completely filled with water, and the wiring must be checked according to the wiring diagram and in compliance with applicable electrical regulations.
Notes
During operation, the heating element and sensor protection tube must be sufficiently surrounded by water. Dry operation, unsuitable installation position, incorrect voltage, or heavy scaling can impair function.
The 7.5 kW version is designed for a 400 V connection. The final design is based on the nameplate, system planning, and on-site inspection.
