Product Overview & Area of Application
The ATTACK SLX 50 LAMBDA Touch is a manually fed wood gasification boiler for closed hot water heating systems. With a nominal output of 50 kW and an output range of 25 to 50 kW, this model is intended for larger central heating systems whose heat demand has been professionally matched to the boiler output.
The 230-liter filling chamber accommodates dry, split firewood with a length of up to 750 mm. The generously sized fuel chamber allows the use of long logs and reduces the effort required for splitting and reloading fuel.
Technology & Equipment
The LAMBDA Touch control processes boiler temperature, flue gas temperature, and residual oxygen content. Based on these measured values, it controls the induced draft fan as well as the motorized primary and secondary air dampers. The combustion air is thus automatically adjusted to the current operating state.
A tubular heat exchanger with turbulators supports heat transfer to the heating water. The integrated safety heat exchanger, together with a suitable thermal drain safety device, enables the dissipation of excess heat in the event of an impermissibly high boiler temperature.
Everyday Benefits
The large filling chamber and the maximum log length of 750 mm allow the use of long logs. With suitable fuel quality, nominal operation, and a correctly matched system, the approximate burn time is about 4.6 hours per fill.
Touchscreen, lambda sensor, and motorized air dampers support controlled combustion. The automatic combustion control reduces the need for manual adjustments to the primary and secondary air during operation.
System Integration & Compatibility
For the ATTACK SLX 50 LAMBDA Touch, a buffer tank volume of 3,500 liters is recommended. The final sizing depends on the heating load, system hydraulics, heat consumption, operating mode, and the technical requirements of the respective building.
The flow and return connections are designed as G-2-inch connections. The flue pipe connection has a diameter of 150 mm, and the required chimney draft is 23 Pa. A suitable return temperature boost must ensure a return temperature of at least 65 °C.

Assembly
Installation, hydraulic connection, chimney connection, electrical connection, initial commissioning, and safety inspection must be carried out by appropriately qualified specialists. The system requires effective return temperature boosting, a properly sized buffer tank, a safety valve, a thermal drain safety device, and a permanently secured heat dissipation.
Notes
For proper operation, dry, split firewood with a recommended moisture content of approximately 12 to 20% must be used. Wet or unsuitable fuel can impair performance and combustion quality and promote tar and condensate formation.
The required boiler output, buffer tank size, system hydraulics, and chimney design must be determined on a project-specific basis. The performance data does not replace a heat load calculation or professional planning.
