Caleffi frost protection valve for heat pumps 1" and 1 1/4'' with outside air duct

The frost protection valve prevents the medium in the system circuit from freezing and thus prevents damage to the heat pump and pipes.

The valve is a mechanically operating protective system.

The version with an outdoor air sensor allows the system to operate in cooling mode even when the water temperature approaches 3°C.

  • Threaded connection G1" up to G 1 1/4" AG flat sealing (ISO 228-1)
  • Brass case
  • Maximum operating pressure 5 bar
  • Operating temperature range 0-65°C
  • Ambient temperature range: -30-60°C
  • Opening temperature of the medium: 3°C
  • Closing temperature of the medium: 4°C
  • Frost protection function is activated when the outside air temperature is ≤ 5°C.
