Hot Water Storage Tank 100 Liters ETWS – Central Domestic Hot Water Storage Tank with Integrated Heat Exchanger
Product Description
The ETWS hot water storage tank with a volume of 100 liters provides reliable and central heating of domestic hot water for households and small commercial operations. A highly efficient internal heat exchanger transfers heat energy from a solar thermal system or a heating boiler to the drinking water, ensuring a continuous supply of warm water.
For retrofitting, a connection for a 1 1/2" electric heating element is available, allowing the system to be easily combined with photovoltaic or electric auxiliary heating. The compact design with high-quality thermal insulation ensures low heat losses and high operational safety.
Advantages
The storage tank offers an excellent price-performance ratio and high hot water comfort for a demand of approximately 100 to 180 liters. By combining it with solid fuel, pellet, or solar thermal systems, the storage tank is versatile and optimally suited for modern heating systems.
Additional advantages include the integrated circulation connection, the large magnesium sacrificial anode as additional corrosion protection, and the firmly foamed polyurethane thermal insulation that minimizes energy losses. The highly efficient heat exchanger and robust construction ensure long-term stable operation.
Technical Data

Connections: Flow/return heating 3/4" male thread, flow/return domestic hot water 3/4" male thread, circulation 3/4" male thread; connection for magnesium anode 1 1/4" female thread; connection for electric heating 1 1/2" female thread.
Thermal insulation: Polyurethane foam (PUR); Max. operating temperature storage tank 95 °C; Max. operating pressure storage tank / heat exchanger 6 bar; Max. operating temperature heat exchanger 100 °C; Heat loss: 28 W. Dimensions (Ø x H) including insulation: 625 x 770 mm; Weight empty: 64 kg.
Assembly & Connection
The hot water tank is designed for connection to heating boilers, solar thermal systems, and combination boilers. The standardized connection threads facilitate installation; when connecting, note the positions of the flow, return, and circulation lines, as well as the designated opening for an electric heating element.
For proper installation, we recommend working with a heating installer, especially when integrating into existing systems and for electrical retrofitting. Seals and proper fastening are important to prevent leaks.
Corrosion Protection & Service Life
The tank features a high-quality enamel interior coating that protects the drinking water from contact corrosion. In addition, a large magnesium sacrificial anode provides active corrosion protection and significantly extends the service life of the tank.
OWR1 Heating Element 2 kW – Electric Heating Element for Domestic Hot Water and Process Water Tanks
Product Description
The OWR1 heating element with 2 kW power is a compact, robust electric heating element for use in domestic hot water and process water tanks, boilers, and buffer tanks. It operates at 230 V and is equipped with a standardized connection thread of 1 1/2".
The horizontal installation type and an installation length of 360 mm allow flexible application options. An externally mounted controller enables convenient adjustment of the target temperature, and the heating element is delivered with a Schuko plug, so no additional adapter is required.
Technical Data
Power: 2.0 kW; Voltage: 230 V; Connection thread: 1 1/2" male thread; Installation length: 360 mm; Installation type: horizontal; Controller adjustable from approx. 20 °C to approx. 70 °C; Safety temperature limiter: 85 °C.
Installation & Assembly
The heating element can be quickly installed via the standardized thread. Before installation, the device and the storage tank must be disconnected from the power supply and the installation opening must be cleaned. Proper sealing at the thread is important to prevent leaks.
If in doubt, installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician or a heating installer, especially to ensure correct electrical connections and grounding.
Safety & Operation
The integrated safety temperature limiter at 85 °C protects against overheating. The infinitely variable adjustment via the external controller allows temperatures from approx. 20 °C to 70 °C for daily operation. Always disconnect the power supply before maintenance work.
Areas of Application & Advantages
The OWR1 is ideally suited as an auxiliary heater for small to medium-sized storage tanks, as a retrofit solution in existing systems, or as a replacement heating element. Advantages include easy installation, compact design, and infinitely variable temperature control, which also allows use in confined installation situations.
Care & Maintenance
Regular visual inspections for corrosion and leaks extend the service life. Limescale deposits can impair heating performance; with hard water, suitable measures to minimize scaling are recommended. Electrical tests should be carried out by a qualified electrician at defined intervals.
Scope of Delivery & Compatibility
The heating element includes the OWR1, an installation and operating manual, and a Schuko plug. Before purchasing, check the installation length, installation type (horizontal), and the connection thread to ensure compatibility with your storage tank. If you have any questions, our customer service team will be happy to help.
