There are two types of solar collectors: flat-plate and evacuated tube collectors. In flat-plate collectors, the tubes containing the solar fluid are located behind a coated plate, the absorber plate. In evacuated tube collectors, on the other hand, the tubes are coated directly. Because the absorber completely encloses the tubes and is surrounded by a vacuum, these collectors reach higher temperatures and efficiencies more quickly. Whether evacuated tube or flat-plate collector: all our solar collectors are sustainably produced in Europe.
